The Barrow Theatre Institute has scheduled two classes which begin Saturday, Oct. 14.
A one-day make up F/X workshop for adults and those ages 15 years and older will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. The workshop includes lessons, demonstrations and hands-on
learning, taught in the Barrow’s dressing room with large mirrors and lights. A makeup and character kit, lunch and beverages are included. Space is limited. The workshop is instructed by Lily Rice and Jenna Ronchi. Cost is $85.
An eight-week Improv-ination workshop for children will begin Saturday, Oct. 14, and continue until Saturday, Dec. 2. It will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturdays.
Children at any experience level will learn about ways in which theater can build self-esteem, confidence and teamwork skills. Participants use warm-ups and theatre games to explore their vocal and physical instruments and learn how their imaginations can unlock skills that can be called upon throughout the rest of our lives. The workshop is instructed by DeannaWolfgong. The cost is $70.
