Jessica McNellie of Rocky Grove will hold a bake sale Sunday to raise money for Children’s Hospital.
The fundraiser is the 10th annual event McNellie has held in memory of her daughter Ella McNellie, who died Dec. 21, 2011, after a battle against cancer.
The sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the main entrance of the Cranberry Mall. Money and gift card donations will be collected at the event and McNellie will pass along the proceeds to the hospital in Pittsburgh.
“I like to not only help raise awareness about childhood cancer but celebrate Ella’s life,” McNellie said. She holds the annual fundraiser around the date of Ella’s birthday.
