A project to repave Atlantic Avenue in Franklin will start next month.
The project will include the full length of Atlantic Avenue from the eastern to the western intersections with Route 322.
Work is expected to start Monday, July 8, and be completed by Sept. 27.
Work will include milling and overlay, as well as updated guide rail, drainage and pavement markings.
The contractor is Lindy Paving of New Galilee. The contract cost is $924,325.31, which is to be paid entirely with state funds.
The project is made possible by Act 89, Pennsylvania’s transportation funding plan.
