Ava Ferringer is our new athlete of the week. She has been in the spotlight recently with her performances in volleyball.
Ferringer helped the team with a 2-1 record for the week plus an 8-1 record overall. Ava lead the team in kills each of the three games this week with 9, all while maintaining a 3.9 GPA.
Ferringer snapped a quick picture with Athletic Director Brad Earp and gave some insight on being the Athlete of the Week.
“It’s an honor,” she said.
She listed off a couple of accomplishments she had this season.
“I am proud of our team this year; being able to defeat Keystone was insane for us,” Ferringer said.
Ferringer will back on the court tonight for Senior Night. JV starts at 6 p.m. with Senior Night and Varsity to follow.
Nick Richar and Logan Johnson are students at Cranberry High School and members of Cranberry Chronicles, the school’s journalism/publications class.
