The Transit Art Gallery & Gifts in Oil City’s National Transit Building will host a spring artists exhibit, Art of the Garden, from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The free exhibit will feature light refreshments and the works of three area artists, with pressed botanicals by Mary Rose Ragon and mixed media, jewelry and photography by R & V Rescue Art which is owned by Vicki and Rick Clark.
Ragon has been pressing locally harvested flowers since her childhood and incorporates rescued and reclaimed materials in many of her pieces.
The Clarks meld their backgrounds of her art and architectural degrees and their shared interest in history, nature, and animal rescue to craft pieces from re-purposed materials and photography of local points of interests on various mediums.
