Band members representing Clarion, Union, Keystone and Brookville high schools who are part of the Assessment Honors Band will perform Friday during the PMEA State In-Service Conference in Erie.
Conductors will include Lisa Hummel, Timothy Stevenson and Christopher Curry.
This is the first large instrumental group of high school students from the local area to perform at the conference in more than 25 years, according to Hummel.
The students finalized their musical selections and rehearsed Monday on the music they last performed together at the Assessment Honors Band concert in October.
