Applefest begins today in Franklin.
Here is today’s schedule of events:
- 5 a.m. to noon – Apple Pancake Breakfast, St. Patrick School, 10th and Buffalo streets
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Coloring Station at Apple Jackie Headquarters, 409 13th St.
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – U.S. Army Adventure Trailer; members of the public can test their shooting skills with rifles and pistols on a gaming system.
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Farmers market, 12th Street
- 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Max Schang, Fountain Park
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Deanna Wolfgong, Bandstand Park
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – DeBence Antique Music World tours
- 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. – Victorian Residential Architecture Walking Tours, led by Franklin Rotary Club
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – B&E Combo, Bandstand Park
- Noon to 1 p.m. – HOLeY Jeans, Fountain Park
- Noon to 5 p.m. – Johnny Appleseed strolls through Applefest
- 1 p.m. – Magic Steve, children’s magician and balloon artist, Edible Arrangements
- 1:15 to 2 p.m. – Franklin High School Madrigals, Bandstand Park
- 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Tyler Carson, Taste of Talent runner-up, Fountain Park
- 2:30 to 4 p.m. – Old Guys with Guitars, Bandstand Park
- 4:30 to 5 p.m. – Venango Brigade, Fountain Park
- 7:30 p.m. – “The Little Mermaid,” Barrow-Civic Theatre
- 8 p.m. – Dead Level, The Franklin, 1340 Liberty St.; $10 admission
