Antlerless deer licenses will go on sale Monday for Pennsylvania residents.
Hunters who wish to apply for an antlerless deer license must hold a current hunting license for the 2019-2020 season.
Cost is $6.90 for Pennsylvania residents.
Only one license per hunter will be issued in the first round; hunters may apply for a second and third license in subsequent rounds until the supply is exhausted.
Applications and a check or money order may be sent to the Venango County Treasurer’s office at 1174 Elk St., Franklin. Cash will not be accepted. Special pink envelopes will be available through the state game commission for the license application and payment, but they should not be mailed to the treasurer’s office before Friday.
