Animals are “Petpared” for Franklin PetFest

Franklin’s Bandstand Park will host PetFest, formerly DukeFest, this Saturday, offering a variety of pet-centered activities and raising funds for Precious Paws Animal Rescue. The event, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature exotic animals from Jungle Terry, a $500 cock-a-doodle-poo bingo competition, dog agility demos by Bark Side Training, and a popular pet show with contests for costumes and more. Visitors can also enjoy a pet-focused yard sale, arts and crafts, and over 40 vendors. The event aims to raise $10,000 to $15,000 to support Precious Paws’ programs, including spay/neuter services and feeding adoptable pets.
