Allegheny National Forest continues search for committee members

The Allegheny National Forest is extending the application period for five open positions on the Secure Rural Schools Allegheny Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) to October 28. The RAC, which serves Forest and Warren counties, requires members to be Pennsylvania residents and represent diverse national forest-related interests. The committee has a four-year term, with members organized into three categories. Those interested in applying can contact Dale Readus, the Designated Federal Official, or visit the USDA Forest Service website for more information on the Secure Rural Schools program and the application process.
