Allegheny Gnar is hosting the second race in the USA Cycling Downhill State Championship Series in President from today through Sunday. The event features three new downhill trails and invites public attendance. The series aims to raise funds for trail development and mountain bike racing in the region. Allegheny Gnar, founded in 2023 by Jim Cole and Russell Lineman, works with private landowners to build or maintain trails. Shuttled open riding will occur on Friday and Saturday, with the race on Sunday. Proceeds from sponsorships and registration fees fund cash prizes and trail work in Oil City and President.
