The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board said Wednesday that Milan Adamovsky has not submitted an application to have a liquor license transferred to him for one of his properties in Oil City.
A placard announcing the transfer request appeared late last week in the window of Adamovsky’s property at 106 Center St.
“It turns out we have not yet received a transfer application for this, which means the orange placard has been prematurely posted,” Elizabeth Brassell, the deputy executive director for the LCB, told the newspaper via email Wednesday.
The placard spells out a request for a restaurant liquor license currently held by Atlantic Development Corp. of PA be transferred to Adamovsky Liquid Assets LLC to serve alcohol at the premises of 106 Center.
After the application to transfer the liquor license is formally filed, there will be a 30-day period for people to protest the application, Brassell said in an email.
The 106 Center property was purchased by Adamovsky in February 2021. It was one of five buildings the New Jersey developer purchased in Oil City’s North Side business district at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021.
The newspaper made a couple of calls to Adamovsky on Wednesday regarding his plans for 106 Center, but the calls weren’t returned.
