CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police say five people have been shot outside of a nightclub in Tennessee, about 50 miles northwest of Nashville.
Police were called to the El Punto nightclub in Clarksville, shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday. Authorities say five people were shot and taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Clarksville Police Department spokeswoman Natalie Hall said in a news release that authorities have no suspects. Police were gathering evidence in the parking lot Saturday morning, which was blocked off by police tape until about 8 a.m.
