It is rare when a parent shares a birthday with a child and even more rare when a grandparent also has the same birthday as a child or grandchild.
For Venus residents Tricia and Joe Brady, their family is among the generational rarities.
The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Rosalie Brady, born at UPMC Northwest on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The birthday is not only one that 26-year-old Tricia and 27-year-old Joe Brady share, but also paternal grandmother, Kimberly Brady, age 57.
“This is one of the greatest birthday presents we could ask for,” said Tricia Brady, who had an induction performed after waiting five days past Rosalie’s due date.
The Bradys have closed in on a record with their three generations of a common birthday. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the most generations sharing a birthday on the same day is four.
