A 23-year-old woman is dead following an incident involving an officer in Sharon, Mercer County.
According to Mercer state police, Sharon police were dispatched to an alleged domestic assault on Tamplin Street at approximately 11:48 p.m. Jan. 6.
During the investigation of the incident, an officer-involved shooting occurred resulting in the death of resident Sean Marie Hake.
State police Troop D’s Major Case Team, with the assistance of the Mercer County District Attorney’s Office, is investigating the incident.
Mercer state police said a press conference is planned for Wednesday.
