State police in Mercer said a man and a woman have been charged in the kidnapping and robbery of a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man in Liberty Township.
Police said Jory Dean Loughman, 21, and Ariel Star Arblaster, 19, have been charged in the incident that took place Saturday and began at about 9:30 p.m.
According to police, a report was received the victims were being held hostage and that further investigation revealed the juvenile victim was pistol-whipped.
According to police, multiple shots were fired from the vehicle and at some point the suspects exited the vehicle.
Police said the victims freed themselves and took control of the vehicle.
Police said Loughman and Arblaster have been charged with various offenses and are lodged at the Mercer County jail.
