Franklin state police said a person died in an one-vehicle crash on Route 157 in Cranberry Township at 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
Police said a person was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt west on Route 157 near Old Kahle Road when the person lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole.
The person was ejected from the vehicle and was found deceased upon arrival, police said.
The accident resulted in the closure of the roadway between Old Kahle Road and Horsecreek Road for several hours.
Also responding to the scene were Seneca Volunteer Fire Department and Community Ambulance.
