Oil City police said a North Carolina woman was arrested on Friday night for carrying a pistol without a concealed weapon permit.

Police said they investigated a heavily damaged vehicle in the Days Inn parking lot when the driver, Jessica Bodien, 21, was found to be a suspended driver from out of state.

Police said Bodien was brought to the police station to enter a plea for suspended driving.

Bodien was charged with a felony count of firearms not to be carried without a license, driving on a suspended license, driving without financial responsibility and possession or distribution of a small amount of marijuana.
