Venango Museum will conduct Sibley mansion tours

The Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry will conduct tours of the Sibley mansion in June.

The tours of the former Joseph C. Sibley mansion at River Ridge (currently the location of Life Ministries) are a regular fundraiser held by the museum.

Reservations are being accepted for the tours, which will be held Tuesday, June 9.

The first tour will start at 3 p.m. and will include a DVD presentation, a guided tour of the mansion and refreshments. A second tour with the same format will start at 6 p.m.

Reservations will be limited to 20 people per tour. Cost is $20.

Social distancing guidelines will be used during both tours.

Attendees will be required to take and wear their own face masks.

The tours have been planned by the museum’s support committee whose members include Mary Balas, Verna Caldwell, Candy Connor, Charlene Huber, Debbie Barber, Anita Eberle, Toni Kresenski, Sarah Lander, Jean Merwin, Kim Pelletier and the museum’s executive director, Betsy Kellner.
