Venango has phone number to help with vaccine scheduling issues

From staff reports

Venango County now has a phone number dedicated to helping people who are having problems scheduling their COVID-19 vaccination.

“The phone line is not to call and schedule to get the vaccine, it is to call if you need help,” Commissioner Albert Abramovic said.

People having issues getting through the scheduling process and who are eligible to get the vaccine under Phase 1A can call the county at (814) 432-9667. The phone will be answered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

“If they don’t answer leave a voicemail and someone will call back in a timely manner,” Abramovic said.

In another development, Butler Health System announced Wednesday it is now accepting all individuals eligible under Phase 1A without any kind of restriction at the Clarion Hospital vaccine clinic at the old Peebles location at the Clarion Mall.

The vaccine is no longer limited at the Clarion clinic to residents of Butler, Clarion and Forest counties, Butler Health said in a press release.

For more information as to who is able to get the vaccine under Phase 1A, people can visit www.butlerhealthsystem.org or www.health.pa.gov.

People without access to a computer who need assistance with scheduling a vaccine, are asked to call (814) 297-7820 for further instructions.
