Here is today’s schedule of events at the Venango County Fair:
9 a.m. – 4-H and open swine show – Phillips Arena
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Pottery demonstration and ceramic painting by Oil Creek Earthworks Pottery Studio – Log Cabin
Noon – Free lunch for all Venango County 4-Hers – Presented by Polk-East Grove, Nicklin-Center and Reynolds-Deer Creek charges of the United Methodist Church
1 to 5 p.m. – Gameland
3 p.m. – Nail design contest – Foster/Bullock
4 p.m. – Barnyard Olympics – pie eating – In front of Gameland
5 to 8 p.m. – Jazz-N-Dazzle face painting – Kelly’s Korner
6 to 8 p.m. – Bingo in Gameland
6 to 9 p.m. – Live music by Windy River Band – Scrubgrass Stage
7 p.m. – Tractor and truck pulls – Pulling Track
Ongoing events are the Kent Family Circus, Bear Hollow wood carving show, hot dog pig racing and the mobile environmental lab (H2Oh! on the Go!).
The fairgrounds close at 11 p.m.
