The morning dew

A Mexican sunflower or tithonia is covered with dewdrops.

Now that the mornings are cooler, area plants and posies sport countless tiny dewdrops. The small droplets of moisture sparkle like diamonds in the morning sun. Meanwhile, the goldenrod continues to bloom and a few more late summer wildflowers open their blossoms to the sun.
