Take a musical journey with Liberty Cabaret at the Barrow- Civic Theatre

Liberty Cabaret Returns: Greatest Hits features a compilation of favorites from the ’50s to present day in a musical journey through time.

Liberty Cabaret had sold-out performances in 2013, 2014 and 2015.  The production returns to the Barrow- Civic Theatre’s Little Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 2-3, and Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 9-11.

Brooke Lawrie of Oil City and Mark Daugherty of Hilliards play the hilarious production assistant duo, Aimee and Carl, with Reginald Rice of Oil City as Sal, the very charismatic and Italian emcee.  These characters will lead the audience in laughter and remembrance of some of the most cherished music and moments in popular culture.  Audience members will be entertained with song and dance to hits by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Jackson Five, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood and much more.

The show’s production managers include Casey McVay of Franklin as stage director and choreographer, Ricci Hardt of Oil City as music director and live accompanist and Hannah McCarthy of Franklin as assistant choreographer.

This trio will also be performing along with other cast members including Suzi Beach of Franklin, Tracy Brown of Franklin, Dan Kaylor of Clintonville, Brooke Lawrie of Oil City, Lauren Skelley of
Shippenville, Austin Suarez of Polk and Kelsey Viertel of Franklin.  Technical direction is provided by Gus Babington of Oil City.

A limited number of tickets may be available at the door before each performance, but the public is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.  Alcoholic and soft drink beverages will be available for purchase during the performances.  Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
