Reno man wanted for assault of 3 women turns himself in

From staff reports

A Reno man charged in the alleged assault of three women in April turned himself in to Franklin state police Wednesday.

According to police, Travis Berry, 32, assaulted his girlfriend, a 33-year-old Seneca woman, in the parking lot of her workplace where he yanked her hair and threatened to harm her dog. He then went to the woman’s nearby apartment where he assaulted her friend and sister, choking one and body slamming the other police said.

Franklin police say Berry turned himself at the Franklin state police barracks without incident.

According to court documents, Berry was arraigned on Wednesday by district judge Patrick Lowrey and placed in the Venango County jail.

Berry is facing a misdemeanor count of strangulation, two misdemeanor counts of simple assault and two misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person. He is also facing three summary counts of harassment.
