The Venango Relay for Life, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Oil City High School track, will include a children’s carnival.
Organizers are looking for donated toys to give away as prizes for children ages 3 to 12.
Gently used toys from smoke-free homes will be collected May 14-29 at three area locations:
— Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, 24 Seneca St., Oil City
— Penn State Extension office, 867B Mercer Road, Franklin
— Wilson, Thompson & Cisek, 1162 Elk St., Franklin
Organizers are asking that donated items not have small pieces that could be a choking hazard for children.
