Registration packets for the Franklin Fine Arts Council’s ninth annual Taste of Talent vocal competition are available.
The council will sponsor the competition this summer at Bandstand Park in downtown Franklin. The competition is open to individual soloists ages 16 years and older.
Audition packets may be submitted through May 9.
The semifinals will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, and the finals will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, after the Taste of Franklin.
The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and the three semifinalists will receive a $100 Franklin Retail Association gift certificate and $100 cash.
