Public meeting set Tuesday to discuss Titusville bridge project

From staff reports

PennDOT and its consultant, McCormick Taylor, will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Titusville Towne Square building to discuss the South Perry Street Bridge project in Titusville.

The purpose of this meeting is to receive public input regarding historic and/or archaeological concerns for the project as required by the National Historic Preservation Act.

The bridge, which is owned by Crawford County, has been in a long-term closure after it was deemed unsafe for traffic by PennDOT.

After a study, PennDOT recommended the bridge be removed.
