PSP unveils informational card for people with autism

The Pennsylvania State Police are distributing a free informational card designed to assist individuals with autism in their interactions with law enforcement. Officers are advised to be patient, use a calm and direct voice, and simplify their questions. The initiative, part of broader efforts by the Shapiro Administration to support the intellectual disabilities and autism community, aims to enhance communication and ensure better interactions with police.
