Ward has an existing medical condition and is without his medication, police said.

Ward is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark gray T-shirt, blue jeans, heavy wool socks, no shoes and carrying a camo backpack, police said.

The possibility of foul play remains unknown, police said.
