Police find missing Centerville man

Corry state police said a man who had been missing from his Centerville home since late Thursday afternoon was located unharmed in Oil Creek Township late Friday afternoon.

Police said Frank Joseph McGarvie, 79, of Rome Township, who suffers from the early stages of dementia, was found when they went to a gravel pit on Terrace Farm Road at about 4:40 p.m.

Police said McGarvie had driven from his home in a red Ford F-150 pickup truck at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
