Pet of the Day 9/20/19

Chloe, a 2-year-old lab mix, finds it hard to make a good first impression. When visitors approach her kennel, Chloe leaps against her gate and barks vigorously because she’s a big, energetic dog, in a cramped space, and she just wants to get out. Most people are turned off by behavior like that so Chloe keeps getting passed by; but if you take Chloe out into the yard and give her a chance, Chloe turns into a big love bug who follows you around like a puppy. Because of her enthusiasm, we do not recommend Chloe for a family with young kids, but in her past she has lived with adults, children, and other pets. She will do best in an active home with someone who shares her love for long walks, outdoor adventures, and snuggles on the couch. Chloe would be the perfect partner for a dog experienced, single woman who is looking for a loyal and affectionate companion. Got room for a beautiful black dog to bloom in your heart and home? Chloe is looking for a place to put down roots. To plan your next escape with Chloe, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call (814) 918-2032, or email contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
