Levi has quite the story. His owner passed away and he was taken to a shelter in Tennessee. He tested positive for heart worm. Even though it would have been easy to overlook an older dog that wasn’t in the best health, a rescue hero in Tennessee took him in. Friends in our area helped to financially support his treatment and he will be joining us very soon. Our humane society has worked with a couple different rescues in Tennessee recently to bring dogs north and give them a chance to be adopted. Levi is fortunate to be one of those dogs. His foster mom reports that he is humble and kind and good with everyone. If you are looking for a well behaved senior dog, don’t miss this one!
