PennDOT highway manager appointed for Forest, Warren

Ryan Wescoat has been appointed as PennDOT’s highway maintenance manager for Warren and Forest counties in District 1. In this role, he will manage a $16.5 million annual budget and 117 employees, overseeing winter services and routine maintenance for over 340 bridges and 750 miles of state-owned roads. Wescoat began his career with PennDOT 14 years ago, progressing from a civil engineer trainee to assistant manager positions in Venango and Crawford counties. After a stint as Titusville’s public works director, he returned to PennDOT, aiming for a maintenance manager role. Recently, he served as the acting county manager for Warren and Forest counties. Wescoat has personal ties to the area, with roots in Warren County and family connections in Forest County, where he currently resides in Titusville with his wife and daughter.
