Oil Valley Film Festival director announces winners

From staff reports

The 2020 Oil Valley Film Festival held online last month featured 27 films from around the globe.

The festival was comprised of competitive sections for American and international narrative and documentary films, both feature-length and short. It was presented via the Festivee platform.

“Although we couldn’t do an in-person festival this year, I was really proud of what we were able to accomplish with a virtual version of our annual event,” said festival director Matt Croyle.

The 2020 event was presented by and in partnership with InkTip and Robot Blonde. The Oil City Library, Oil City Civic Center and Bridge Builders Community Foundations were also instrumental in the success of the festival.

Croyle said Arts Oil City and the Oil City Main Street Program also were part of the festival’s success.
