Oil City YMCA to hold open house April 15

OIL CITY – Oil City YMCA wellness director Katie Port, CEO Tom Spence and youth sports director Max Krepps prepare for the Y’s open house on Friday, April 15.

The Y will open its doors to the public from 3 to 8 p.m. for the event. The event is free and open to the public.

Facility tours will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Children’s art activities and games will start at 3 p.m., including games for kids in the gym and swimming pool. Participants can speak with Wellness Center staff and try the equipment. Child Watch will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Participants can sample group exercise classes at 30-minute intervals from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. People who attend the open house will receive a free gift and will be entered into prize drawings.

The Oil City YMCA is located at 7 Petroleum St., Oil City. The YMCA is a 40,000-square-foot facility offering a Wellness Center with machines and equipment, a six-lane 25-yard competitive pool, a full-size gym, a weight room, a fitness studio, a multipurpose room and locker room facilities.
