Oil City residents face drug charges

Two Oil City residents are facing drug charges following a search of their home last week.

According to a criminal complaint filed with district judge Andrew Fish’s office, Franklin state police executed a search warrant Feb. 14 at a residence on Murray Street.

The search was completed after police spoke with two residents of the home, Christina A. Sanders, 35, and Robert J. Hollobaugh, 35. Both admitted to smoking marijuana and that they would fail a drug test, the complaint said.

As a result of the search, police found inside the residence 12 bags of suspected marijuana, a scale, numerous smoking pipes, a spoon with residue and numerous containers used for storing marijuana, the complaint said.

The marijuana was located in places that were accessible to the two minor children living in the residence, the complaint said.

Sanders and Hollobaugh were arrested and each charged with felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, in addition to misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and recklessly endangering another person.

Both Sanders and Hollobaugh were arraigned Friday and placed in the Venango County jail on $50,000 secured bail.
