Despite rainy conditions, Oil City YMCA held Family Fun Day with nearly 200 in attendance Saturday, May 14, at Camp Coffman.

Children were able to play multiple games inside the dining hall.  A book fair, balloon darts, a javelin throw, a duck pond and indoor dodge ball kept the fun going until the rain stopped.

Zip lining and rock wall climbing were the most popular events at the event.  About 40 people were able to take the 500 foot ride across the East Sandy Creek. The fish were biting and many families took advantage of the free fishing. Poles and bait were provided.

Family Fun Day is an annual event at Camp Coffman, held each spring. YMCA Camp Coffman is the location for YMCA Summer Day Camp, run by the Oil City YMCA all twelve weeks of the summer.
Several of the activities featured at Family Fun Day are open to the public during the summer.
