Man shot in Forest County

State police in Marienville said an altercation at a camp on Graham Farm Road in Kingsley Township early Sunday morning resulted in a man being shot in the neck, causing severe injury.

According to police, 52-year-old Jon Joseph Taylor, of Munhall, retrieved a revolver from his vehicle and the 31-year-old male victim assaulted him at about 5 a.m. Taylor then shot the victim, police said.

The victim was taken to UPMC Presbyterian and was reported to be in stable condition Sunday night, police said.

Taylor was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault and related offenses and placed in the Warren County Jail after failing to post $75,000 bail, police said.
