Man killed in Irwin Township crash

One person was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Irwin Township that apparently occurred overnight Sunday, according to Venango County 911.

The accident at the intersection of Cook Road and Georgetown Road was discovered at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, 911 said.

The vehicle crashed in a field, according to 911.

Venango County coroner Christina Rugh said Tobias Frazier, whose mailing address is Polk, died of blunt force trauma to the head and trunk.

Rugh said she was unsure of Frazier’s age.

Frazier was ejected from the vehicle, Rugh said.

Franklin state police, Clintonville volunteer firefighters, and Superior Ambulance also responded to the scene, 911 said.
