Man charged with homicide by vehicle in Fryburg woman’s death

A Corsica man is facing homicide by vehicle and other charges in connection with the death of a Fryburg woman last year in a Clarion County crash.

Wayne Andrew Wilson Jr., 28, was arraigned Tuesday afternoon before District Judge Timothy Schill following an investigation by Clarion state police. A preliminary hearing for Wilson before Schill is scheduled at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 19.

Police said Wilson was driving a vehicle at about 6:30 a.m. last Oct. 31 that entered Route 208 from Sunny Road in Washington Township and traveled directly into the path of a vehicle driven by Kami Dinger, 44, of Fryburg.

Dinger was killed in the crash.

Wilson is charged with felony counts of homicide by vehicle while DUI and homicide by vehicle and misdemeanor counts of involuntary manslaughter, DUI-controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person and fraud alter/forge/counterfeit title registration insurance.

He is also facing a number of summary traffic violations, including reckless driving and careless driving-unintentional death.

Wilson was lodged in the Clarion County jail Tuesday after failing to post $75,000 bail.
