Man arrested in meth case

From staff reports

A Franklin man wanted for dealing methamphetamine was arrested by Sugarcreek police on Thursday after an anonymous tip.

Police said in a criminal complaint filed through District Judge Andrew Fish’s office that an individual arrived to the station on Sept. 13 with .2 grams of meth they’d received from Brandon Sibble, 24.

The complaint said a warrant was issued for Sibble’s arrest, along with a previous warrant for absconding from state probation and parole.

On Thursday, with assistance from Franklin police and an anonymous tip, police said Sibble was located and arrested at a residence in the 1200 block of Liberty Street at 3:41 p.m., the complaint said.

Sibble, the complaint said, was discovered to be in possession of meth and a small amount of marijuana during his arrest.

He was arraigned before Fish on Thursday afternoon.

Sibble has been charged with one count of felony manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; three counts of misdemeanor use/possession of drug paraphernalia; and one count each of misdemeanor intentional possession of controlled substance by a person not registered and marijuana – small amount personal use.

Sibble is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Venango County Central Court on Wednesday.
