James will host curbside senior expo in Seneca

From staff reports

State Rep. R. Lee James will host a curbside senior expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Seneca Volunteer Fire Department building.

Due to COVID-19, vendors won’t be present at the event. Instead, seniors will pull into the parking lot and drive up to a table manned by James and his staff.

Participants will be handed a bag containing information from James’ office in addition to all the services provided by vendors.

Information will be shared about assisted living facilities, utility options, older adult services available in the county and Medicare plans available for seniors, as well as general health and wellness information.

There is no need to RSVP for the event, but seniors who have questions are encouraged to call James’ office at (814) 677-6413.

The fire department is located at 3494 State Route 257 in Seneca.
