Grove woman facing more drug charges

A Rocky Grove woman currently in jail as a drug case against her moves through the court system is now facing charges in another drug case.

Franklin police said Asia Hall, 22, has been charged with single felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, one misdemeanor count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and 20 misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Police said the charges stem from a controlled drug buy in October in which members of the Franklin police drug task force witnessed Hall sell alprazolam to a confidential informant.

A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled Dec. 4 in Venango County Central Court.

In the earlier case against Hall, she was charged after a drug bust by Sugarcreek Borough police on Oct. 16.

She waived her Central Court hearing on charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, escape, f resisting arrest/other law enforcement, tamper with/fabricate physical evidence and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hall entered a not guilty plea to those charges Thursday in arraignment court.
