The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets next week in the following areas:
Monday – Third shift: business district; First shift: Oak Hill area.
Tuesday – Third shift: odd side of Elk and 11th to 15th and even side of Buffalo and 11th to 15th; first shift: Oak Hill area.
Wednesday – Third shift: odd side of 11th and Eagle to Otter, even side of Otter and 11th to 15th and both sides of Eagle; First shift: Oak Hill area.
Thursday – Third shift: even side of 11th and Eagle to Otter, odd side of Otter and 11th to 15th and both sides of Railroad; First shift: Myrtle Circle and the city side of Meadville Pike.
Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days to be swept. Anti-skid materials may be swept into piles in front of residents’ property to be picked up by city crews.
Residents should call the city garage at (814) 437-1600 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays to give the location of the piles that need to be picked up.
