The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets next week in the following areas:
Monday – First shift: alleys from 12th St. to Eighth Street and 200 block of Egbert Avenue.
Tuesday – First shift: odd side of Grant Street and even side of Atlantic Avenue.
Thursday – First shift: both sides of Center Street, Spring Street, even side of Grant Street and odd side of Atlantic Avenue.
Friday – First shift: both sides of Erie, Pine and Norman streets.
Sweeper breakdowns or inclement weather may cause delays or rescheduling.
Residents may sweep anti-skid material into piles in front of their property for pickup by city workers. They can call the city maintenance center from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 437-1600 to give locations of the piles.
