The Franklin Public Library will open its teen reading lounge later this summer.
Teens who want to participate in the non-traditional book club for youths ages 12 to 18 may sign up through Tuesday, July 21, at the library.
Books can be picked up during the last week in July, and the series will begin in early August. It will be a primarily online forum at first, organizers said.
The online group is called ORLA Teen Reading Lounge and is a private group on Facebook.
“Code Talker,” a book about how Navajo Indians used their own secret code to help America win World War II, will be the first book the group will read and discuss.
