Leaf pick-ups will continue next week in Franklin.
Here is the schedule, which could change due to weather:
Monday: First and second wards. Also, bagged leaf pick-up throughout the city.
Tuesday: First and second wards and Miller Park
Wednesday: Second ward
Thursday and Friday: Random throughout the city. There will also be bagged leaf pick-ups throughout the city on Friday.
Residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of their front lawns, not on the street, for pickup.
Mechanical breakdowns or inclement weather could cause some delays or rescheduling.
The city will also pick up paper biodegradable bags of leaves (no plastic bags) Monday and Friday.
For more information, people can call the city garage on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (814) 437-1600.
Residents are reminded to observe the temporary “No Parking” signs to avoid receiving a ticket.
