Pickup of leaves will continue next week in Franklin, weather permitting.
Here is the schedule:
Monday: Miller Park. Also, bagged leaf pick-up throughout the city.
Tuesday: Miller Park
Wednesday: Miller Park
Thursday: Third Ward
Friday: Bagged leaves only
Residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of their front lawns, not on the street, for pickup. Mechanical breakdowns or inclement weather could cause some delays or rescheduling.
The city will also pick up paper biodegradable bags of leaves (no plastic bags) Monday and Friday.
For more information, people can call the city garage on weekdays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at (814) 437-1600.
Residents are reminded to observe the temporary “No Parking” signs to avoid receiving a ticket.
