Franklin Edible Arrangements closing at end of August

The Franklin location of franchise Edible Arrangements will be permanently closing Aug 31. Business will proceed as usual up until the final week, according to the closing sign in the front window.

After nearly a decade on Liberty Street in Franklin, Edible Arrangements will close permanently on August 31. The closure is due to franchise owners Deborah and Mark Ronchi, who relocated to Georgia, choosing not to renew their franchise agreement. Store manager Mary McClintock expressed that the shop, which offers fruit arrangements and smoothies, will be missed by the community. Although some have shown interest in purchasing the store, it is too late to buy from the current owners. Potential buyers must establish a new agreement with the franchise. Employees face a three-year wait before they can open a similar business independently.
