FLEX Presents event set April 5 at Barrow

Future Leaders and Entrepreneurs Exchange, a young professionals organization of the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, will host FLEX Presents from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin.

FLEX Presents is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of local young professionals who contribute to the community through civic engagement, leadership and entrepreneurship.

The event will include the presentation of the Young Professional of the Year award.

There are 12 nominees for the 2019 award. They are Rachel Brosnahan of Singing Sparrow Designs, Ashley Cowles of Venango Chamber and Core Goods, Jill Harry of PennDOT, Nicholas Hess of the Printer’s Cabinet & Curiosities, Angela Kuhaneck of Electralloy, Jim Marshall of King’s Landscaping, Ashley McCauley of Rossbacher Insurance, Laura Ordaz of Komatsu Mining Corp., Dr. Stephen Reinsel of Wagner Family Eye Care, Dr. Sallie Richards of Rural Mental Health Associates, Ashley Smith of the County of Venango and Rachel Stiller of Borchers Americas.

Each nominee has chosen a local nonprofit and the proceeds from a raffle at the event will go to the organization chosen by the FLEX Presents Young Professional of the Year.

The cost to attend is $20.
